The 18.9MW solar project in Tolima, Colombia, completed in January 2024, is set to annually generate 44 GWh of clean energy, benefiting 30,000 households and reducing CO2 emissions by over 20,000 tons. LONGi's collaboration with the project owner has integrated animal husbandry with photovoltaics, creating a sustainable model that reduces environmental pollution, supports low-carbon agriculture, and drives local economic development through job creation.

In 2022, LONGi donated photovoltaic modules to Aquila Wildlife Conservation Base in South Africa, enabling clean energy for daily power, night lighting, and water purification. This transition from diesel generators reduces pollution and noise, safeguarding the wildlife habitat.

LONGi and Guizhou University teamed up in 2020 to establish a 500kW solar power station at Badugu Tea Garden in Guizhou, China. The solar setup generates 4 million kWh annually for local needs and enhances tea yield by 10%-30%, creating a sustainable model that combines clean energy with traditional agriculture.

LONGi's Green Initiative in Kubuqi Desert: Combating Desertification with Solar Power LONGi has built two solar power stations in Inner Mongolia's Kubuqi Desert, with 336kW and 338kW capacities, pioneering eco-friendly development. These solar farms generate significant revenue, protect the ground from direct sunlight, reduce water evaporation, and foster vegetation growth, thereby tackling desertification and enabling agricultural and pastoral development in the desert.

Solar Energy Cooperative Empowers Rio Communities In Rio de Janeiro, the communities of Babilônia and Chapéu Mangueira launched a solar cooperative in 2021, supported by NGO Revolusolar. Utilizing 60 LONGi panels, the project generates energy credits for families and trains residents in solar installation, fostering community engagement. Over three years, it produced 70,425 kWh, powered 50 homes, and reduced CO2 emissions by 7 tons, with annual savings of R$ 80,000 reinvested to expand the initiative.

In May 2024, LONGi partnered with Guangdong Integration Communication Co., Ltd. to commission an 80kW solar power station for the Pearl River Estuary Chinese White Dolphin National Nature Reserve, advancing green energy use and biodiversity conservation. The station annually generates 89,800 kWh, saving 82,700 yuan and reducing CO2 emissions by 74 tons. The Chinese White Dolphin, "Panda of the Sea," is a globally rare marine mammal with approximately 6,000 individuals, including 2,000 in this reserve.

The Xiangshan mudflat photovoltaic project in Zhejiang is China's first large-scale coastal initiative combining fish light complementary aquaculture with clean energy. It not only meets regional green electricity demands and reduces air pollution but also supports local island rural development. The project has revitalized the marine ecology, enabling power generation above and aquaculture below, with restored biodiversity and active fishing communities.
