Recently, LONGi received a report from National Center of Supervision and Inspection on Photovoltaic Products Quality showing that: The conversion efficiency of LONGi Solar’s monocrystalline PERC cell reached 22.17%, breaking the company’s own record and reaching a leading position in the industry.
It’s reported that the power of LONGi’s 60-cell P-type PERC monocrystalline module reached 316.6W under standard test conditions (STC) at the end of last year, which was the highest power of the same model tested by TÜV. The increase of the conversion efficiency of monocrystalline PERC cell to 22.17% brings the conversion efficiency of the company’s products to a new height.
LONGi has been taking technology as the core competitiveness, committed to improving human life with photovoltaic technology. The company has invested about 5% of annual revenue in research and development, established institute of technology for and development of monocrystalline products throughout whole value chain, and introduced advanced research, development and production equipment as hardware foundation. “It has proved that the conversion efficiency of monocrystalline PERC cell has a broad prospect, we won’t stop at the high efficiency, and there is still a lot of work to do to improve the product quality,” LONGi Solar President Li Wenxue said: “LONGi Solar will continue to enhance the competitiveness of monocrystalline cells and modules, and make more efforts to reduce the LCOE and promote photovoltaic applications.”
