LONGi solar made quite a figure in the United States. The United States is the second largest PV market in the world, and Solar Power International 2016 has an unprecedented scale, with booths of all exhibitors crowded by visitors. As a newcomer to the American market, LONGi solar was actively involved in the exhibition and displayed a number of its latest products, including eight modules such as the 72-cell conventional module, 72-cell high-power low-attenuation PERC module Hi-MO1, double-glass bifacial PERC module, 1500V module and smart module, enabling more customers to know the brand and advanced monocrystalline technologies of LONGi solar.
During the exhibition, Dr. ZHENG Zhi, Technologist of Module Design Center, LONGi solar, delivered a speech titled “Generation and solution of light-induced degradation of modules”. He reviewed the research of the scientific and technological circles on light-induced degradation, introduced Hi-MO1 module, the research achievement of LONGi solar in reducing the light-induced degradation of monocrystalline products. Through the technique improvement of silicon materials based on massive data, the Hi-MO1 product has successfully lowered the first-year light-induced degradation to the industry’s lowest level. In addition, Dr. ZHENG imported the overall advantages of LONGi solar’s monocrystalline modules into the calculation of the LCOE of the United States, introduced the terminal customer value of LONGi solar’s monocrystalline products, and attracted wide attention from the audience.
At the same time, Mr. LI Zhenguo, President of LONGi Group, accepted an exclusive interview by PV-tech, an authoritative PV media, introduced LONGi solar’s strategic deployment in overseas markets in recent years, and expressed the confidence of LONGi solar in monocrystalline modules to become the market mainstream.
In addition, LONGi solar held a booth party, with a lucky draw for Apple Watch, lightening up the atmosphere.
