On August 2, 2017, at the invitation of LONGi Solar, Prof. Zhao Jianhua and Prof. Wang Aihua, a couple who both are PV technology experts and professors of Sanjiang University, Prof. Alison Lennon and Dr. Ouyang Zi of the University of New South Wales visited LONGi Solar and exchanged academic opinions with Li Zhenguo, President of LONGi Group, and Dr. Lu Jun, Vice President of Product, LONGi Solar.
Before the academic exchange, LONGi President Li Zhenguo expressed warm welcome and sincere thanks to Prof. Zhao Jianhua, Prof. Wang Aihua, Prof. Alison Lennon and Dr. Ouyang Zi.
During the academic exchange, Dr. Ouyang Zi introduced in detail the PV lab of the University of New South Wales. Prof. Lennon shared the research findings of the University of New South Wales on efficient batteries and modules.
LONGi President Li Zhenguo and Dr. Lu Jun thanked Prof. Lennon for sharing, and said that LONGi Solar was willing to work with the University of New South Wales to develop new PV technology and contribute to the rapid development of PV technology.
After the academic exchange, LONGi Solar signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Sanjiang University and the University of New South Wales. Meanwhile, LONGi President Li Zhenguo issued letters of appointment to Prof. Zhao Jianhua and Prof. Wang Aihua, appointing Prof. Zhao as Honorary Chairman of the Committee of Scientists of LONGi Solar, and Prof. Wang as Academic Consultant of the Committee of Scientists. The appointment of authoritative PV industry experts and the renewal of long-term strategic cooperation with the University of New South Wales can consolidate LONGi Solar’s technical reserves in the PV industry, and sharpen LONGi Solar’s leading edge in the PV technology, so that LONGi Solar can contribute to the rapid development of PV technology and continuously provide customers with high-quality, high-efficient PV products while strengthening the cooperation of enterprise, university and research institute.
