Always Strive for the First and Best

In 2006, LONGi invested in the construction of its first crystal pulling factory in Zhongning, Ningxia.

The first base to produce clean energy using clean energy
In 2016, LONGi established its first production base in Huaping County, Lijiang, Yunnan. Subsequently, it expanded its industrial scale in Lijiang, Baoshan, Chuxiong, and Qujing, utilizing the abundant hydropower resources in the area to develop photovoltaic manufacturing and produce clean energy using clean energy.

In 2016, LONGi laid out its first overseas factory in Kuching, Malaysia, establishing the world's first vertically integrated monocrystalline silicon solar energy production and manufacturing base.

The first photovoltaic module
In 2016, LONGi's first high-efficiency monocrystalline module product Hi-MO 1 was released, which was also Longi's first product named "High+MONO". Hi-MO 1 is based on monocrystalline PERC technology and low attenuation technology, allowing the photovoltaic module (60 type) to exceed 300W, and the photovoltaic industry entered the 3.0 era across eras.

The first BIPV product
In August 2020, LONGi released its first Building Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV) product, "LONGi Roof," marking LONGi's official entry into the BIPV market.

The first alkaline water electrolysis equipment is offline
In October 2021, LONGi's first alkaline water electrolysis equipment was produced sucessfully in Wuxi, Jiangsu. Since 2018, LONGi has been conducting strategic research on the hydrogen energy industry chain and officially established LONGi Hydrogen Technology Co., Ltd. on March 31, 2021.

The first cell efficiency breakthrough of oversea monopolies
In 2024, LONGi's independently developed HPBC 2.0 module achieved an efficiency of 25.4%, breaking the world record for efficiency of crystalline silicon modules and breaking the long-term monopoly of overseas photovoltaic brands on the efficiency record of crystalline silicon modules for 36 years.

In May 2018, LONGi officially released the "2017 Corporate Social Responsibility Report". Up to now, LONGi has successively released seven sustainability/social responsibility reports, disclosing the company's actions and achievements in a series of issues such as environmental protection, social responsibility, and corporate governance (ESG).

First time attending the United Nations Climate Change Conference
In 2018, LONGi participated in the United Nations Climate Change Conference for the first time and proposed the "Solar for Solar" development mode for the first time at the conference.

Starting from 2022, LONGi will designate May 30th to June 5th as LONGi Sustainable Development Week and hope to spread the concept of sustainable development and its climate action practices globally, thereby influencing more people to participate in green development and practices.

The first Chinese scientist to win the "Nobel Prize in Photovoltaics"
In 2024, Dr. Xu Xixiang, Chief Scientist of LONGi was awarded the William R. Cherry Award in recognition of his significant contributions in the field of photovoltaics. This award is known as the "Nobel Prize in the field of photovoltaics", and Dr. Xu Xixiang has become the first Chinese scientist to receive this honor.

In December 2023, LONGi Jiaxing production base was awarded the first "lighthouse factory" in the global photovoltaic industry, marking that the company's intelligent and digital manufacturing capabilities have reached a global leading level.
