Deepening ESG Conversations at Columbia University

At the Columbia ESG & Sustainability Global Summit, LONGi was honored to share its sustainable initiatives and affirm its dedication to ESG principles. Brad Li engaged with leading experts in environmental finance, zero-emission transportation, and global climate initiatives. Discussions centered on leveraging technology, business, and finance to drive ESG innovation and reduce carbon footprints. Brad emphasized the significant potential of photovoltaics and other renewable energy sources in promoting corporate sustainability. Thanks to ongoing advancements, the efficiency of photovoltaic power generation continues to rise, alongside a decrease in costs, allowing for innovative applications such as green hydrogen production and building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV). Since establishing its cutting-edge facilities in 2015, designed to "generate clean energy with clean energy," LONGi has led the industry by joining global initiatives such as EV100, EP100, RE100, and earning SBTi certification in 2023 for meeting stringent climate targets.

Advancing Global Sustainability at Harvard University

The U.S.-Asia Center Sustainable Development Summit at Harvard University brought together global leaders to forge strategies for addressing climate change and promoting sustainable development. Themed "Crossing Boundaries: Uniting for Sustainable Future," the summit encouraged international collaboration and overcoming industry barriers. In his keynote address, Brad Li discussed LONGi’s solutions to the energy trilemma of security, equity, and sustainability. LONGi’s advanced technologies not only enhance energy efficiency but also support global sustainability goals, deepening the summit participants' understanding of the energy transition and climate response measures, and strengthening the voice of new energy enterprises in the U.S. and worldwide.
